Therefore my conclusion is anyone who finds themselves in a sing off won't win.

Ah - but take Dancing on Ice. Dance off one week on many occasions led to a bounce to a top 2 position the following week. Same with SCD.

And youre right, Hayley was also never in a skate off. Nor was Ray Quinn.

Well there's always Helena Blackman, in four sing offs, came second.
