Actifry owners - 2 things at once?
Just bought an Actifry and wondering if you can cook two things at once? Say some chips and chicken? Has anyone tried this? Can't see any mention of it anywhere!

Have cut sausage in half and cooked them with the chips so didn't put any oil in.
About 5 mins before the chips are cooked by OH chops up a green pepper and puts it in the pan. He also puts in chopped up bacon but don't know when he puts that in (out at the moment) but will ask. |

I'm toying with the idea of getting one of these. Are they as good as people say and what else are they good for other than chips?

Meat, veg and fruit are all listed in the book. Theres also a recipe book with full meals, sauces and even deserts with it. On the down side, the actual machine does seem rather expensive for what it is and doesn't feel mega robust. |

![]() I also use it for corned beef hash (I posted the recipe here) in an IHOP style. For easy, no attention stir fry it's excellent. |

The recipe book is very good and I've done a fair few from it.

I've heard some bad things about them. Haven't people reported that they spontaneously combust or something?
