Also, her comments on here seem to be better this week, which is nice as DS is uber-critical of everyone!

Sorry guys, not here to slag her off but she seems to have lost all confidence as a solo performer and has all but given up. Week in week out she is in tears. I don't think she could handle a lead role at this time. She was a clear early favourite of ALW too. Maybe if she survives this week she'll regain her confidence.

What song did she end up singing then? Or do you think I should be surprised?

i thought Sophie did well tonight and looked lovely but disappointing with her choice of song as most other girls had upbeat songs which would have been better for sophie plus it didnt help that Danielle was after her with a great performance which would have made sophies a bit forgetable,

Not sure if you meant it that way but it's not her choice. The song is chosen for them and they seem to keep her away from upbeat songs. It's unfair on Sophie - oh and IMO any of them would have done well with that fun song Danielle did.

the song they give her is a lovely song but in Big Band week. Come On. I really wanted her to to have 'Don't rain on my parade' I was gutted when it was the opening song then LOL Sophie was brill in that aswell

I am a fan of Sophie. She sang her song last night really beautifully and looked great. However whilst she was singing, I was practically shouting 'smile, smile, SMILE it's a happy song - for goodness sake ! ! ! She honestly looked like she was singing a dirge at a funeral. I can understand Sheila Hancock's frustration when she says 'sometimes I feel like kicking you!'. I really want her to be great and she keeps failing to deliver

When she was singing the 'Trolley Song' in the group number, she was wonderful - happy and animated. In fact she shone in that performance. If only she could bring that quality out when she sings solo. Oh well - next week hopefully

I totally agree with your post, she needs to get her act together with the acting and dancing even, or next week she will be the next Dorothy to exit. She needs more exuberance and confidence in her performances to make people sit up and take notice.

I agree that any of the other six left would have performed that song well. I think it was the upbeatedness of it, not the actual singer saw Danielle get through with that. Her vocals weren't as great as some of the others, but the song seemed to lift her through imo.

So a double elimination next week. I like a challenge! If Sophie gets through I would be ecstatic Hopefully her supporters backs her even more as everyone else thinks she's a certain gonner. What would top that would be Danielle going But I don't see that happening until the final when ALW loses his powers.

Yeh, challenges are good :P and next week is one for sure. Everyone is going on about how she wont survive Well, we must make sure she does. Btw, did anyone catch what Stephanie said to Sophie before the sing-off?

So cute, there was a collective aww in my house when we saw that. Your going to be out? can you still vote

also im so sick of people going on about how she is only getting through based on the 'biased welsh voting' .... I'm not welsh...

Her apparent lack of confidence can't be helped by her being the last one to be saved yet AGAIN.

IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE RANDOM
