I'm confident that with the right songs Sophie can be a real contender. Right now everyone seems to be pushing her aside and not seeing her as a genuine threat anymore but she'll grow week by week and I know she has a lot of support who will be behind her. It's good that she hasn't peaked too early but I hope they give her a good song for next week which she'll shine with

Ugh its so irritating that JP is just pushing her down all the time. She is better (in my opinion) that half the other girls at least and he just wants to make her feel bad for no apparent reason. Also i just wanted to say, although this may be because she is my favorite, she always seems to stand out in the group songs. For example in 'Get Happy' her vocals were flawless! Wow i feel like I'm spamming all these boards with my Sophie love, sorry about that!

John Partridge is an idiot and he confirmed that with his ridiculous praising of the dreadful Emilie.

Sophie is my second favourite. I believe she is underrated. She has a lovely voice and seems to be a natural Dorothy. It's a pity she forgot her lines because that's what will stick in people's minds. She made the best of a silly song this week. Oh and she's beautiful.

But luckily she wasn't the only one who forgot her lines so she isnt the only one who will be remembered for that! Dani did too

And the editing of the VT focused a hell of a lot more on Dani struggling to remember her lines whereas with Sophie they showed her kind of laughing it off so I think she came off better! I really like Sophie and think she'd be a brilliant Dorothy, she just needs the chance to prove it with some good songs but I have a feeling she's in it for the long haul and can't see her being in the bottom 2 for a good few weeks. If she is still there by the time it gets to the top 5 which I sincerely hope she is, I will start voting but for now I think she's got enough support behind her to keep her in.

Dont say that!! You could be the one vote that keeps her in!

Pressureee! I'm planning on putting a tenner on Sophie to win. She's currently got odds at 25/1 but I think it's a huge under-estimate of how well she is going to do! Plus on Twitter, where you can get 'twibbons' for all sorts of causes/charities/celebs/programmes etc Sophie has the biggest amount of people using a twibbon which says 'I <3 Sophie' in comparison to all the others!

She's got the biggest facebook group as well, by a large margin!

Everyone has to actually vote though, for it to matter.

Sophie is also my second favourite. I wouldn't be worried about forgetting the lines so early in a competition. If she did it a second time it would raise doubts. Every show has a prompter for such an occasion and it does happen to the best of performers.

I do quite like Sophie, she has a lovely voice but I've not seen enough of her acting ability to be able to say if she could be Dorothy. The thing that puts me off her a little bit though is that I've read that she got through to boot camp on the X factor (I think a couple of the other girls may have done also) and this just makes me wonder in the back of my mind whether she/they just wants to be a singer rather than a west end performer, because obviously being a pop star on the x factor and being the leading lady in a west end show are two completely different things and I'm not sure I can understand someone wanting to be both. I may be wrong (and I'm sure they'll be a few replies to this telling me I am!) but there's just this niggle in the back of my mind about it!

Don't worry I'm not about to have a rant at you and say your wrong etc etc BUT having said that Lucie Jones (last seasons x factor, went out torturously early) was offered a part in the west end after she was booted off that show. And Kerry Ellis is now recording a album that isn't exclusively musical songs. What I'm trying to say is i think there is a certain 'gray area' when it comes to x factor style singers vs west end style singers. It could be that she wanted to be a west end singer and hoped that would be a way to get her recognized. just a thought

I just looked back at the acting and I like Sophie's acting the best. This might be cus she's my fave but I don't think so, I do tend to accept it if my fave doesn't perform well. I know obviously she forgot her lines=bad but I'm still interested in her ability since there is more than remembering lines, and that could be a one time blip. I love her "I'm Dorothy" and her cute, non-annoying laughing when she scarecrow reacts. I wish Sheila had said more about Sophie and Dani's acting despite them forgetting their lines. I know she seems to have very high standards but surely remembering lines isn't 100% an analysis of somebody's acting ability otherwise there's no point having someone talented like her even judging, anybody can tell forgetting lines is bad, now give us more in depth analysis Sheila!

If Sophie is still overcome with nerves next show, I hope she goes as I dont think the competition is the right place for her.

I hope she does manage the nerves though, going middle of the pack would help, being up first this week she was clearly worried in the opening number about getting off and getting changed in time etc.

She would be a great Dorothy, lets hope she has that breakthrough soon.

I hope so too. I think she's lovely - she has a sort of vulnerability which I think the viewers may have warmed to despite poor feedback from the judges.

I hope John Partridge is more encouraging on Saturday. His comments were particularly harsh and unfair towards her, especially as he heaped praise on inferior acts. I almost felt it was a personal attack. If the judges comments are good this week and none of them make her 'not their Dorothy' it will help her confidence 100 per cent and then we should see her delivering some fantastic performances.

Simple really.

Who would you rather watch perform, John Partridge or Sophie?

Next question please.

I joined the Facebook group. Is that a bit much? I feel like a bit of a saddo as I should be a cool, 20 year old University student but who cares! There are already 5,048 members which is just wow really!

Everyone should join it:

Hey I'm 32 and I joined every DH group going, so don't worry about it!!!
Sophie not my favourite but i think she has lots more to give, loved her in 'All that Jazz' - hope she can give a more confident performance like this, and get a better song.

Yeah I'm really willing her to break through this week and give an outstanding performance. Something slower with lots of emotion hopefully. She'd look more like a Dorothy if they didn't dress her up in all the sassy stuff too.
