the others didnt slate her really the just said she needs to try harder (trying to put a positive spin on it)

shock horror no they focused on her loads. and she was centre stage for most.

no she was actually quite near the front, there were only 4 of them though, that may have been why haha, so relatively speaking she was at the back again, at one point i couldn't see her behind jessica i think it was.

thought Sophie did a great job she's not getting the best songs though. Really worried now!!!!!!!!

uhh well i can't judge until i see it but it's definitely gonna be my least favorite performance from her with that song

A rubbish song again, wtf?! How does Stephanie get Smile and Nobody does it better, whereas Sophie has had 4 fairly bad songs, 3 of which are really vocally difficult!

Group song was goood though Hope she's safe!

UGH! Love Song... seriously?! It's not even that well known. She needs a killer song next week if she'll have any chance of progressing. I really hate the way she's been given terrible songs compared to the other girls. I'm pretty sure ALW has something to do with this.

I know!!! Can't she have a really good, well known song for once. The others have, it's only fair she does too, I'd have loved to have seen her belt out something like 'Nobody does it better'. She did a fab job with 'I'm with you' but even that is such a difficult song to sing.

Night everyone!!!!!!!

I just watched the opening number again, Sophie was fantastic in it, her voice was fab!

Finally got around to watch the show, wasn't impressed with Sophie tonight vocally and I didn't know Love Song was a hard song to sing but then again I don't know anything about singing except I know when it sounds good lol

I'll have to watch it again I could blame it on microphone problems since there was a lot of that tonight! :sleep: but I guess it was just a hard song to sing.

But WHY GOD WHY???? WHY LOVE SONG??? It was really popular over here and it has been unofficially named like the most annoying song of the past decade lol now im like crying she didn't get Don't Speak lol

One thing she did get out of this performance was Sheila liked it. Sheila wanted to see if Sophie could pull off a less intense performance and I'm glad Sheila enjoyed it. I tried to agree with Sheila but with that song I could only semi like it. If her vocal was perfect then I could say I loved it

She's disappointed me a little this week but I'm still a big fan!! Still think she deserves a place in the final but she needs to give it more! I definitely agreed with John and Charlotte tonight.

Ok so I've just watched it again and I'm not disappointed with her because her acting was very good tonight. There were just moments where she wasn't loud enough and I couldn't hear what she said.

Does that have something to do with low register?

she is so affected by nerves im kind of running out of patient, but she still looks fabulous and is so good in the group performances maybe she is destined to just be in a chorus line so to speak.
