Plus I think she is a bit bigger in that department than most of the others. so wardrobe probably cant handle it.

did anyone notice how today on the group songs they seemed to only have the camera on sophie for like a second when she sang and moved onto another girl before she had finished her line yet they stayed on the other girls for longer! or is it just me?

Hmm I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. However tbh the production team do seem to be involving Sophie a lot more in the group numbers.

I saw that too, she was at the front of the opening song which was nice to see i thought she really shone through when i could see her!

Ooh does anyone know when Sophie's birthday is? Is she the youngest in the comp now? I know her and Stephanie are both 17 but I wonder which one is the younger of the two.

Stephanie is, in one of her VT she says 'now I'm the youngest'

nooo! she isn't is she!! No she looks older, but it isn't helped by there stupid 'too old for them' outfits!!

I know! Sophie really is captivating to watch when she performs. If she has a song which she is comfortable and confident with, I have no doubt that she can still win. But I can't help to think that the next time she's in the bottom 2, she'll be off Hopefully there is no next time and she sails through to the final!

I actually hadn't noticed this time around but I have noticed she has worn quite revealing stuff. Maybe the wardrobe department want to show her off since she is the most "gifted" of the girls

Sad to see Sophie in the bottom 2 today though I had a feeling the two girls with the worst songs would be in it. I hope they give her a better song next week like all the other sing off victims have gotten and hopefully she does amazingly well to show the judges she should be there to stay!

I wasn't scared because of loveofskins' spoilers for which I'm very grateful But I was gutted that she was in the bottom 2 in first place.
I know she has the talent and ability in herself to get to the final but as I've said before, and I'll probably say again and again, she needs a song that can show this talent which we can already see.

Sophie was fantastic in the sing off. I'm so glad we heard her sing an MT song - what a difference from her solos!! Anyone who says Emilie sang better is wrong. Sophie was in tune the whole way through, Emilie was not. Fact. Personally I feel Sophie also performed it better, but the singing side isn't even a question.

Can I point out how good she was in the 1st group performance ( the wizard of oz one) the way she sang love of art was perfect for Dorothy

heh, I got in an argument on another thread about this...I've given up arguing now. I have perfect pitch and I know I'm right so I don't care haha.

I agree, I wasn't actually watching the screen at that point and looked up because I was shocked how much the person singing sounded like Dorothy, and I don't know if it was just me but I thought the singing from some of them in that opening song was very ropey!

me too and isn't it so annoying that those who haven't argue that someone is not singing flat or sharp when those of us who have it cringe at every off note even if it is only fractinally off.

Some peope say it is an opinion whether someone is flat or not , it really isn't , a flat note is a flat note and a fact!

I haven't seen the sing off yet , but am fed up of all those who have been saying Emilie did not sing flat, when it was so flaming obvious , so I am glad Sopie stayed as in my mind she is much the better singer .

hope she comes out all guns blazing next week, I tihnk she needs an amazing performance now to get the support she is due

What s interesting to me is in all the 'who will win' and 'rate the last 7' she is coming 4 or 5th in most of them. If she does a wow performance this week she could easily be bump her up! But i got the impression that we were a small number who thought she could do the role, NO idea where i got that from

and yes...i also posted this to bump the thread up onto the first page

Ive noticed that and quite a few who dont post on here have her even higher.
