I love Steph - she dealt so well with ALW saying she wasn't Dorothy.

I've seen him recently saying he shouldn't have allowed himself to be drawn on whether he thought Jessie or Jodie should be Nancy in the final, he doesn't seem to have learnt his lesson though does he.

I really like her. If she's not Dorothy, I hope she has WE career.

I was just about to look for this thread!

Steph was sensational on Saturday. Performance of the night for me. She just went for it, no holding back, great attitude.

Nice to see her topping the favourites poll on DS too

And the more I see of her, the more convinced I am that she could play a convincing Dorothy.

Come on Steph!

Yeh it's about time she had a nice ballad or at least a song that shows she is right for Dorothy... which she is
Go Steph!!!!!!!!!!

Another decent performance from Steph this week (and that's from me, who said elsewhere that they're all rubbish now ), but she did have a more friendly song than several of the others.

I'm going to keep voting for Steph from now on to keep her in as long as possible. I get the feeling every vote really is going to count after this week's result. Actually, I've just worked out why I like Steph so much. On the show website it says Steph is half maltese. I love maltesers

Steph was excellent on Saturday- easily performance of the night for me! I thought she looked believable in her Dorothy costume as well so that rules out the "will she look too mature?" worry. I really hope she gets a good, not too belty song next Saturday to prove her Dorothy potential to people.

was in Tesco last night and found they currently have extra large bags of maltesers on offer for £2. So I bought a bag to eat on Saturday and show my support for my favourite half-malteser

Go Steph!

I thought Steph was amazing on Saturday so I stuck in a vote for her. Whether she's Dorothy or not she'll do incredibly well out of this show.

I think that being in the bottom two in the first week did Steph some good in a strange kind of way. She came back fighting and is now less anonymous than some of the other contestants. And if you're going to go up against anyone in the sing-off better it be Amy (or Emilie) than one of the others.

If Steph can maintain the high standard of last week I think she's a good outside bet to get to the final, though I think her perceived unsuitablility for the role will continue to be an issue.

I think she just needs to tone down her modern pop approach to one more suited to theatre. She should be given a classic stage musical song to perform to get the audience thinking about her in those terms.

Go Steph! (did I already say that?)

Yeh, I think in terms of being noticed, Steph's situation is actually one of the best! Bottom two and then a killer performance the following week.
I'm really hoping and praying she gets a decent song tomorrow. It would be such a waste of phenomenal talent if she was voted out this early, even if she's maybe not the most suited to the role.

Being in the bottom 2 is never good, she sang the way she did last week becuase she was always that good. The song was just able to help show off her talents.

Being in the bottom 2 this early on means she almost most certainly won't make the final, if you go by these shows odds. So I am very sorry. Becuase I really want her to stay.

Sorry to be so negitive. But I'm not holding out much hope.

I was hoping that the people who sing badly leave, but that aint going to happen.

Helena was in the bottom two week one and finished second, Ben was in the sing off week one and came fourth. So may e Steph won't win but she could still do well.

I think the public will have the sense to keep her in for at least a few more weeks. And hopefully the longer she stays in, the more people will realise just how talented she is.

Wishing her luck tomorrow.

Maybe because she is
Most gorgeous smile ever.

Could do. But I suspect they'll give her a boring song this week and she'll be in the bottom 2. If Emilie is with her, I suspect the lord will save Steph. hope so.

Yes - as well as being a good performer (fantastic last week) it is her warm personality and smile.
