I wanted Steph in the final. The fact that she made it this far after being in the sing off week 1 is a real achievment. I'm sad she's out she was really good. I think it was hard on her to have everyone of the panel say she was weekest last night. when she's been consistantly good.

I wonder if the panel will get bitchy next week like last year. I hope not.

I couldn't really pick anyone I wanted to see the back of out of out of the last 4 but I am sorry to see Steph go - her performanc es were really great and energetic and she was the better of the two in her duet last night. Lovely send off - she sang beautifully.

No doubt in my mind that apart from the winner she's going to be the most sucessful. the crowds reaction to her departure showed that!

I absolutely loved the crowd's response to her leaving! Clearly she was even more amazing live than she was through the medium of the television screen. She's now on my list of contestants from these shows that I will go and see no matter what they're in if I can possibly get there (along with Sarah Lark and Rachel Tucker from the Nancy series, which was the first that I watched all the way through. Lauren will also go on the list just as soon as the series is over ).

Although I am a Sophie supporter I did vote for Steph last night as well.

I wanted Steph in the final with Sophie, and was sad to see her go out tonight.

l
Good luck Steph, and I hope you will soon be singing your heart out on the West End stage

Best wishes to Steph for the future. I thought she was far better in the sing off - her emotion seemed much more real than Lauren's. A talented young lady - sure she will have a good career ahead.

Why did Sheila wait until now to tell Steph about her shoulders and hair, which often made her look slightly stunted? Why didn't the backroom staff pick up on it? So many young girls feel they must have long hair when it doesn't do anything for them at all, it just drags them down.

But what a lovely voice Steph has - I hope she'll find a platform for showing it off

I enjoyed Steph's performances all the way through the competition. I never felt uncomfortable, nervous or bored watching her unlike some of the others. She gave us great entertainment and I thank her for that. Hopefully Steph will get a part soon so that we can go and see her in the West End. She had the best exit so far and I was delighted to see the audience stand for her at the end.

There was no fake grin with Steph. She came across as a naturally bubbly and happy person, and her smile always reached her eyes, and you can't fake smiling with your eyes like that. And anyway, a supposed fake grin would be a darn silly reason for someone to lose votes to go into the final.

Hello Fearon Fanatics

I thought Steph was definitely a triple threat, and when she was good she was really good.

She should have been in the final, just thought I'd say that!

I'm sure at times, when she was getting negative comments or was in the bottom two, she was probably making an effort to keep smiling and maybe that's what roddydogs meant. But then it's awkward when someone can't hide their misery, as we saw when poor Stephanie went out. I prefer Steph's smiling in adversity.

Omg, really hope so, but only if it's a lead role!

Even if the rumour isn't correct, I'm taking it as a Very Good Sign that we're already getting rumours about possible roles for Steph. I'm assuming this means she's already being approached with offers of auditions, which is absolutely brilliant as it means with any luck she ought to be on stage somewhere fairly soon!

Also having re-watched her bits of last week's show, um, once or twice, I just wanted to say how lovely it was of her to thank all the backstage people. I still haven't decided if she got reasonably good outfits from wardrobe all series or if she's just got some kind of supernatural talent for pulling off costumes (I mean, she did succeed in making her towel look like a dress in that duet with Sophie, which I'm thinking is no mean feat. Sophie looked very pretty as always, but she was quite clearly wearing a towel.) but it was so nice to hear the backstage people remembered as well as ALW and the panel.

Steph will be fantastic, whatever role she lands.

There's no smoke without fire so I'm hoping there is some truth to this rumour

Just to say I saw Smokey Joe's Cafe last night with a friend and would definitely recommend it. It's still in previews at the moment so I expect it will be even better in a week's time (there were one or two minor glitches which I'm sure will fixed come next week e.g. at one point I'm pretty sure all four guys were meant to be putting on glasses- three of them did, the second in the row just mimed the action for some reason) but even without allowing for it only being the second performance, it's a fantastic little show. I don't think there's a weak link at all in the cast (important when there are only 9 of them and they're all on stage a lot of the time) and the music is great. Steph's really good in it- the music and performance style clearly suit her down to the ground and I can definitely see both why she was offered the part and why she accepted it! It was my first time watching a "review" type show rather than an actual musical *and* my first London fringe production so I really wasn't that sure what to expect but although the storyline is naturally very slight, I had a smile on my face all the way through and the time passed very quickly.

I'll also say that if anyone else is going to see it and wondering what to do for food, the pub downstairs does serve full meals and the chips come highly recommended!
