ok i know there's been more shows like this made by andrew webber but its the first time i've watched one. i found that send off at the end quite cool. i know it was harsh but its not something i've seen before on a talent show.

out of interest do the remaining contestants get to see the loser after the show or is that it until they're voted off because there was a lot of crying!

Theses shows (maria, joseph and nancy) all have similar send offs, its one of the best bits! I remember seeing the first one on Maria and just pissing myself!

I would imagine the girls get to say more goodbyes back stage

One last night with the girls?

I was just a bit concerned with the height, reminded me of Gremlins when the old woman goes flying off on her stairlift.

The graphics came up on the screen just as her feet go out of view, does she get off at the top or come back down?

Having seen the Joseph series I was curious as to what the send off would be like with Dorothy. It was nothing like I expected, it totally took my breath away and had me in floods of tears. It was so utterly beautiful. I am so totally hooked on Dorothy now

I feel sorry for ALW haing to nurse a pair of sweaty slippers!
