Stephanie has a fab voice, stage presence and personality, plus the look of Dorothy and age on her side!

Who's with me?

I'm definitely with you!

Glad to hear it babyshez!

I spent time with Steph at a previous audition, and we called ourselves the Pixies of the group...so I was delighted to see her singing Pixie Lott!

Awww, she seems so lovely! The Pixies, how cute

I've always liked her, i loved her at the Dorothy farm when she was talking to Graham and he went on about how the other girls can't dance. She makes me laugh so much, and her presence on stage is amazing!

She really is lovely!

I like people to know about my connection with her partly because it's cool and mostly because it explains my strong bias towards her!

Steph doesn't really look like a Pixie any more...I still do and I'm 2 years older than she is! She sang better live than Pixie Lott tends to though!

Bless her, she'd never even admit that I couldn't dance! I'm half blind! (I'm sure that doesn't stop all of us, but it definitely doesn't help!)

People say that her performance is over the top, but she has to stand out, especially as it's early days, and it's musical theatre she's going for. I can't see how anyone could not see her as Dorothy!

I think Stephanie would make the best Dorothy out of all the finalists. She really looks the part and is very talented. Hope she does well!

I think she's too old to be Dorothy. Dorothy was a 12 year-old-girl so surely someone between 12-14 should play her?

Judy Garland was 16 And it's unlikely that a 12-year-old could carry the part on stage. Maybe in a movie, which is made in snippets and where the personality doesn't have to reach the gods ;D

That's leaving aside the legalities, meaning they'd have to have several 12-year-old Dorothys per day.

As there aren't any 12-14 year old Dorothys on the show, at 17 Stephanie's in one of the strongest positions in terms of age. Dani is the youngest, but doesn't seem to be as polished a performer yet, and she's only the youngest by a year. At least Stephanie's not in her 20s like some of the girls, who are very talented but not suitable for the role.

Stephanie's a tough cookie, she can carry this role off and anyone working with her will love her!

Love her!
She's so down to earth and grounded...brilliant!

Aw glad to hear it...I agree!

It's obvious she's having an amazing time!

There's no place like home, for all the other contestants!

Stephanie has stood out to me since the beginning, and along with Jessica, Danielle, Dani and maybe Jenny is in my top 4/5

I also like Emilie (one of my friends knows her, but I don't...she could be good if she was more confident), Danielle and Bronte. I like Steph F as a singer but not as Dorothy. Sophie's good, not sure she's great but I'm not as keen on the others.

I reckon Stephanie would have neen at least one of my favourites anyway, she's amazing and really fits the bill for Dorothy!

Loving Stephanie, Hope she does well

Stephanie came out top for me last week, but she did have the advantage of a decent, easy-to-sing song over many of the others. I suppose it would be too boring for us to see them all perform exactly the same material, one after the other.

I think Stephanie sang better live than Pixie Lott does, and not just because I'm biased

Her song and performance did allow her to show a lot of character though. She can sing both pop and musical theatre material very well, and would make a great Dorothy!

Stephanie was my favourite in the auditions, such a lovely person and (to me anyway) so perfectly Dorothy-ish. But she is facing some stiff competition! Good luck Stephanie!

Hey Stephanie fans

Faria, just out of interest, how do you know her?

My brother hadn't watched any of the series until Saturday and he heard a 2 second clip of her singing Mama Do in her VT and said "She's my favourite; that was brilliant" and for the rest of the weekend he kept saying how fab she was! I AGREE!

Heya Twirl and the rest of you Stephanie fans!

I met her at an audition in 2007, where we spent quite a lot of time together over a few days. We've kept in touch since then, but I hadn't heard from her for a few months when I spotted her on OTR!

I've been in touch with her mum on Facebook though, who's passing on my messages while Stephanie's not allowed much contact with the outside world! I've been on ApplauseStore trying to get tickets to a live show, not heard anything back yet but there's still time. It'd be lovely to see her again! As she lives so far away from me, being in Liverpool while I'm in Hampshire and not an independent traveller, we haven't met up since our audition.

She's a lovely girl though, very talented and perfect for Dorothy!

I'm not too worried about the competition at the moment - I like Emilie, but she'll never win, and unfortunately I doubt she'll make the final. I also like Steph F, but she's too mature and dramatic to be Dorothy, and I see Danielle H as Stephanie's main competition at the moment in terms of talent, popularity and suitability, but not so many people seem to remember Danielle.

Keep watching and voting guys!

Another Stephanie fan here. I really liked her saturday night along with Danielle. Danielle was good but Stephanie "is" Dorothy in my opinion, I just loved her performance of Smile

Welcome aboard Smartie!

Stephanie IS Dorothy IMO as well - there are plenty of roles for the likes of Danielle who are also very talented, but I'd love for Stephanie to win this!

You haven't seen me, right?

Don't tell anyone on the Danielle thread, but I think I want Stephanie to win...

I think Danielle is genuine qualidee, and I would love to see her have a great career, but Stephanie is a better fit for Dorothy imho. I love her upbeat mannerisms, and besides which I wished her luck just before she sang Mama Do, and she seemed sweet and sincere.

Ahem

Go Danielle!

You were able to meet Stephanie FXDUX?

I really hope I can get to the studio. Obviously I have already met Stephanie, but haven't seen her in ages and haven't met any of the others

I think that of the other contenders, Danielle would be one of the better fits for Dorothy, but even without my bias, I'm sure I'd think Stephanie was the best fit of all!

I wanted to give Stephanie a big hug tonight when she was crying

I'm glad she lives to see another week- her performance this week was spot on!

I wonder what she'll sing next week
Faria262
25-04-2010
Aw she's so sweet! Reminds me of how at XF I managed not to cry until I saw her, then we were both crying!

Sorry to see Emilie go, but really pleased Stephanie's survived again without any question of being sent home!

Next week will be interesting! I was surprised by this week's song choice but really enjoyed it and the performance!

Big band next week isn't it? Stephanie should handle that well!
