Ally Ross is a genius. His best ever comment was that Ricardo from The Salon was a cross between Iggy Pop and My Little Pony.Anyway, I digress.... Totally agree with everything he's said here.

Well actually he's been blasting them for the past YEAR. As have all TV critics that I've seen. And rightly so, of course.

Yeh, an it was The Sun who praised EastEnders and championed it all those years ago when it first started. The other papers hated it just like they did with Brookie. But now with their friendly paper The Sun turning on them, with all these sex allegations against Den, you'd have to wonder exactly what changes will be made? I don't think the Beeb even know that one. He is absoloutely right though, not sacking Grantham is admitting that he is bigger than the show, an you know a show is in trouble when a character becomes so important the tv station will overlook something so majorly embarrassing just to keep him in it. Sack Den and try an scrape back some of that little bit of dignity you have left EastEnders!

There was a 2 page spread on Deadenders(lol, they used that phrase in the headline too) yesterday in The Mirror, saying how crap it was.

There was an article in The Mirror calling it "Deadenders". Now the tabloids are turning on it, something needs to be done fast!

Agreed with every word of that article except .... Micky, a good actor?! Surely that must have been a misprint.

No one has a good word to say for Eastenders any longer. The BBC must be running very scared by now. I hope they've got a plan.
