No it wasn't his fault but it did colour my feelings towards his Doctor...and we are dealing here with a fictional character not the actor himself.

Agree 100% with number 1, Matt Smith has eclipsed all others in the role for me. Tom Baker was my Doctor as well. I never thought much of DT, though there were some very good stories (I loved GITF), looking back at clips of him in the role now though and he just doesn't seem right - Matt Smith IS the Doctor

Nope, I like MS as the Doctor but I still prefer CE, DT (of new Who). MS did level with my No. 4 though (PT)

I've taken down my poster of DT as the Doctor and proudly put up Matt (

), everyone thinks I'm sad for having it. But I adore him as the Doctor, and he is now *my* Doctor. He was in TEH but I decided to wait it out before confirming it.
