Does anyone reckon that the posts on these forums actually get read by the PTB at the BBC. There are nearly 60,000 members on DS so surely they must have an inkling of how the soap is rated by ** Public. If so, why are they doing nothing about it?

It is being slagged off even by cast members past and present.

What can be done to turn it around and do the BBC really care about making it better?

Make every episode live, so we really see the acting skills...

Im sure they don't care very much about the views expressed on forums as it is still a ratings performer, just because 'no one likes the Ferriras' isnt going to worry them, its just an opinion. Same with the old cast members, where have they gone? lets face it they are nothing with out Eastenders. They are bound to use every opportunity they can to slag off EE. Does the BBC care about ex cast members slagging it off? I doubt it...

The people who just keep repeating how bad EE is on this forum, I suggest they express their views and make the BBC listen, after all we pay the license fee.
