No more so than the fact you keep going on about how you grew up in Madrid.

Only when Barcelona "fans" who could barely even point the city out on a map ask her how she can support two teams.

Man Utd 'fans' have been guilty of starting the odd troll thread themselves.

And I don't think you can speak for all of them when you claim 'United fans don't do any alerting'.

Yup. First page is filled with em. We started the "fergie losing the plot" one.

There are millions of Man Utd fans who probably have no idea where Old Trafford is.

I'm sure Man United PLC have no problems with these fans buying club shirts every year and supporting them from the comfort of their own homes.

Yet 'fans' such as yourself have an issue with them.

I only ever mention that fact when either I'm being called out for being a Real/Spain supporter or when I'm pre-empting being called out and pointing out the fact that it's the reason I support my teams in a debate

ETA: And I can honestly say, hand on heart, I have never alerted a post on here in my life and yet have just come back from a 24 hour ban because someone reported a fairly innocuous comment in the Utd thread that was apparently "disrespectful" to another member.

The other day in this very thread you was having a general dig at Barcelona fans, and started to boast about how it was perfectly okay for you to support Real as you grew up in Madrid but no one called you up about supporting two clubs at all.

You support Man Utd and Real Madrid, what's the problem? Why do you feel you have to justify why you support two teams, is there some sort of law against doing that?

No I was commenting on the "fans" that have suddenly all appeared out of nowhere who all claim to have been lifelong Barca fans despite the fact they've never so much as mentioned the team before.

Considering the amount of times I've had to defend that fact on these boards - and most of the Utd thread will be able to back me on that - it would seem like there is.

Nobody claimed they were 'lifelong Barca fans'. I think you just went into attack mode from the off.

Just because you have been attacked for supporting two teams in other threads does not mean you're going to get it in every thread.

There have been quite a few DS members who seem to dissapear after sailing into the choppy seas of the Man U Supporter's thread - it's like the blinkin' Bermuda Triangle !

I mention I am a Gooner because I am a proud Arsenal fan - is that ok with you ??

We may just pinch the title this year ... Van Persie is back any day - Your only decent player could be struggling to get over those niggling injuries and may come back to soon again and Drogba is carrying a persistent groin problem .

Good times are just around the corner for The Arsenal .

See that is just ignorant of you to say something as insulting as that to Barcelona fans in THEIR own forum .

Especially when it is completely unfounded - where is your evidence to back up such a dumb statement ?

He'll be happy if he sees the words "inactive member" under a WUM's name means he automatically alerted their posts?

Unfortunately I can't post the quotes that got that user banned.

United had just been dumped out of Europe and after about 5 messages in a row of "hahahahha" amongst other insulting posts about the manager and team and that would inevitably lead to action needing to be taken in order to end the situation.

If that user didn't get banned, be it by me or anyone else, it would have been a miracle.

If you saw the posts I'm surprised they got to go on for so long.

Which means he probably reported the person in question - something he earlier denied ever happens !

I didnt think it was flukey, its what happens sometimes, it was up to Sheringham to make the best of what he had, and he did.... its what he's paid to do, besides it wasnt that I disagreed with, its was the fact that you claimed that Bayern completely dominated the game..... they didnt.

Admittedly, United had some veeeeery close shaves and could have easily lost 2 or 3:0, before we got our 2 goals

Dropped points. Drew with Espanyol 0-0, they've let Madrid back in.

They still have to face Sevilla and Villarreal away from home.

Its all gone quiet in this thread.

How odd.

The lifelong Barca fans must all be stuck in Spain due to the lack of flights. Yes, that must be it....

The game may not go ahead if the planes are still grounded.

Barca don't have any chance of playing an English team now so the baiting can stop

Sure is getting tight at the top.

I still think Barca will win the Champions League and La Liga this season.

Why do you guys come into a Barcelona Fan thread making smartass comments and the like , when if any of these Barca fans did the same in your thread all hell would break loose. Just a thought .
