Will Bruce Forsyth host 2010 series?

I have read on DS that Bruce Forsyth yet to decide if he will host the 2010 series.

If Bruce do call it a day, my choice would be Terry Wogan. He has great g.s.o.h. He made Eurovision viewing bearable with his humour and I feel he could do a great job on strictly.

I would love to see Tezza, or weirdly Michael Mciyntre!

Answer to the title of the thread from me is: I hope not!!!!

I'd have almost anyone but Bruce, he's been past it for about 4 years now! Paul O'Grady would be my choice, but I'm not too fussy (just not Jonathan Ross or Vernon Kay!)

Terry Wogan would be awesome

I also say i hope not but he probably will.

Regarding his replacement when they do finally get rid of him, the only suggestion i've liked so far is Paul O'Grady. Terry Wogan annoys the hell out of me and bored me to tears when he presented Children in Need

Brian Conley would be a perfect replacement, as he can sing and dance and tell jokes better than Brucie

I hope not. If he does go then I say give the show to Lionel Blair. Yes he is old like Bruce but he knows about dance and is a choreographer too. This means that he can stand up for the contestants when they are taking a bashing from the judges and he has the credentials to back up what he is saying.
What I don't want is them to give it to some young presenter that you are left wondering..... why have you got the job?
If it goes to a young presenter I think it's going to be that Steve Jones guy that does those celeb dancing shows for Sport Relief.

I totally agree. He's Bruce's natural successor given that he's a great song and dance man, and a very funny comedian. He's presented many t.v. shows in the past, and knows how to engage an audience of any age. I think his brother already works on Strictly behind the scenes as he was featured on It Takes Two. Would look good alongside Tess as well.

He'd be better than Bruce for sure - not a bad idea at all
