She'll get a good part in something even if it's not TWOO - she's bound to with talent like hers. I know she wants to be Dorothy but it won't be the end of the world if she's not.
She absolutely stands out for me in everything. Loved her in the Talk To The Animals performance. |

I would have loved Lauren's sing off song to have been Take That Look Off Your Face .... Will they have 2 songs this week?

I'd imagine so; it seemed short enough this week with six of them!
What usually happens at this stage? I'd love for there to be one pop song & one MT song

i'm trying to think back to IDA .... This was rthe week Rachel aced Cabaret and still got voted off
i'm sure there was a Jessie/Rache & Sam/Jodie duet aswell! ... I don't know, maybe they should do their fave perfomances of the series: for Lauren i think, Nobody Knows or Being Alive! |

If anyone hears about any song spoilers for Lauren (or any of the others) let us know! I heard some last week but not sure I'm going to see the person who told me them this week

i am getting used to the idea that,in spite of being a class apart,Lauren will not be winning this show.It won't be a problem for her and she will have a great MT career ahead of her.
You do notice though how fans of other contestants really feel the need to slate Lauren, wheras the Lauren fans will only criticise the others based on their performances. The reason is that they know she is far superior to their own favourite and are threatened by her. They can't rationally fault her performances so they say things like i can't warm to her or she is not very nice or too polished(i.e too good).By the way,Lauren(as with all the other girls) seems to be well liked by the rest, which tells me that she is/they are all nice girls. Being knocked out in 4th place might be the best thing for her,so she can totally nail the otr song and prove the public to be fools!I still don't want this to happen by the way. |

this is exactly what i was thinking!!!!!!!!!!!
lauren deserves a bigger part than dorothy! at the start of the programme i said that as long as lauren gets to the final 4 then she will be amazingly successful and now she has!!!! oh and rachel was my favourite in i'd do anything and i saw wicked the other day and she was amazing! ![]() I liked Rachel & Niamh. I saw Rachel in WWRY and she was amazing there too, great stage presence. |

Me too ... Finishing fourth didn't do Rachel Tucker any bad did it! I've likened Lauren to Rachel from Week 2ish ... Saying that she is a fabulous talent but not particually "got" by the GBP.
I also will be away for the final .... You going anywhere nice doc? ![]() I'm going to Corsica And you?

You're both very brave with the volcanic ash still disrupting flights in Europe.

Supergirl, you're going closer to the ash than me, hope the wind changes direction in time! But I agree, a few extra days away would be nice (though I suppose I could get the ferry and train back) ![]() I see there's another thread about Lauren, but a nice one this time. |

Yeah ... but she keeps getting the Jessie comparison, as with Sway with the Sam comparioson (which, I think Lauren was better, in both accounts
) I can't decide whether Jessie acted it better or not, but Lauren DEFINTIELY sang it better! And I just didn't like Sam's performance of Sway...

Any preferences as to what songs we'd like her to sing this week? I know that the general consensus is upbeat & happy!

I'm still thinking about Lauren's solo, but what do you think to all 4 girls singing "I Hope I Get It" from Chorusline?
