Louis Walsh says Brucie "shouldn't even be alive"

I know Brucie is past his best on Strictly now but Louis' comments make him look like the moron he is. The X Factor can keep him!

I kind of agree with him that Brucie is too old now for stuff like Strictly but there's no need to say "he shouldn't even be alive" that's quite harsh, and he's hardly the most entertaining man himself, is he?

Sounds like a death threat to me. Has someone contacted the authorties.

Haha. Sounds like the classic BBC/ITV rivalry.

exactly Bruce has been entertaining for decades and Louis is just jealous that Bruce is more popular than him

It may well have been time for Bruce to retire from presenting 10 years ago, but that doesn't excuse Louis Walsh's comments - sadly it's not the first time he's shown himself to be an idiot

Thats a terrible thing for Louis to say especially having lost someone so publicly recently and all the sympathy the public gave him over his death

"he shouldn't even be alive at this age"

What a w@n**r!

Uh, not a very classy way to respond to Bruce's clearly partisan comments on the X-factor. You don't need all Bruce's years of experience to avoid crass insults.

A less than intelligent response to Brucie's less than intelligent comments.

One reaps what one sows.

What an ignoramous.

Louis Walsh may think he has the gift of the gab and kissed the Blarney Stone but unfortunately he spouts cr@p and every time he opens his mouth he advertises to the world just what an ignorant twit he is. To say someone shouldn't be alive shows just how vile he is - nasty little leprechaun.

Louis Walsh isn't fit to clean Bruce's shoes.

Louis should just go back to his boybands and tools and leave brucie alone

Another reason to add to the many not to watch The X Factor.

When you have comments like this given a public airing, it's no wonder general standards of politeness has sunk. It seems cheap abuse is acceptable. Great example.

Walsh has no track record of entertaining anyone but his own ego.........

Walsh also shows himself up as a prat saying about a young audience when one thing we all know is that the UK has a rapidly aging population...including Walsh himself of course.
