No truth whatsoever as the gene that turns a black cat into a grey one isn't sex linked e.g. it isn't on the sex chromosones - the X or the Y.

It's not a tortie thing - at least neither of mine have done that! Sounds vile!

"Alfie" is a Calico though?? and yes Calico's are normally always female....

(My Amber was the only girl of a pure white litter and the only Calico)

yeah she.s neutered. She was done at 6 months and is now 4 and a half years old. The vet says there's nothing wrong with her and its just something she does lol. I wish she would do it somewhere else. Its always around me. I.ve had to change clothes and shower on many occasions lol. I have 6 cats now and have had 16 in my life and this is a first for me. Trust me lol.
