On a Humax Foxsat PVR

I did have coronation street set to series record on normal SD ITV1 . It always started right at the start of the credits, and never missed the end.

Since I've switched the series record to ITV HD (I know its not true HD, but it looks a lot better than SD), I find it sometimes starts recording earlier or later than the programme starts and sometimes misses the end.

Is there some problem with the automatic time recording for ITVHD? - BBC HD seems OK.

Hmmm, timed recordings definitely not right on ITV HD. Set to record 'you've been framed' tomight. It was still recording and hour after the programme had finished, resulting in a 'clash' with coronation street on the same channel. The media library had the complete you've been framed and coronation street in one file and a failed recording for coronation street.

Any ideas what's wrong?

Something was screwed earlier on.

EPG for channel 103 and channel 119 was the same (as expected) however pressing info on channel 103 whilst the 7:00 to 7:15 news was on showed that it was flagging the HD listing for that program as being on at 6:45 to 7:00.

I don't watch football but did it overrun and cause a schedule change? Maybe this is what caused the issue?

Yeah I've had the same problem with Coronation Street. I've gone into the menu settings and changed the start time for recordings from "automatic" to "1 minute before" as the only solution until they sort it out.
