Well it was bye bye Buzz.......

Derek got a mauling from Len

Pamela was just as weird as ever.

Oh and think the new scoring plan for next week is a great idea.

I loved Derek & Nicole's dance, but Len was right, it wasn't a quickstep, and I do think they were "taking the Mick" a bit, as they (D&N) would know that the voters would love the dance and save them, regardless of what the judges said.

Was glad to see Buzz buzzed off .... I know he is old etc etc and probably good for his age, but he was boring. I think he really thought he was quite good, and that the voters would save him again.

Pam comes across as just plain weird, which is a pity because I think she has good potential as a dancer. But possibly not with Damian Whitewood (or whatever his name is). Can't understand why he is in DWTS; he is nowhere near the standard of the other pros.

Evan's dance was fab, loved it, talk about fast and furious! He seems to be lightening up a bit as a personality as well.

Niecy and Louis's waltz was quite moving, but a bit over simplified.

Can't remember anyone else in detail, and felt generally that all the celebs need to work on footwork and posture.

But an entertaining show, as was the results show. Enjoyed the pros dancing very much.

I do too.
I wish they would adopt it for SCD.

Evan & Anna This was a fantastic quickstep. I like the fact that his personality is coming out more as the week goes on. The best dance of week three.

Buzz & Ashly Glad he is gone. It was only week 3 and he was already getting boring. Hope next season Ashley gets a good partner.

Jake & Chelsie Liked the choreography but i don't think Jake performed it well. I have a feeling they were in the bottom 2 because of the way Jake spoke to Chelsie in their VT.

Niecy & Louis An emotional performance but Niecy now needs to improve her technique.

Chad & Cheryl An Improvement from last week's foxtrot. He still has bad posture, hopefully it will get better.

Pamela & Damian Glad that Pamela was not in the bottom 2 this week. I think Pamela would be a better dancer if she had someone like Tony or Maks as her pro.

Aiden & Edyta Agreed with Len that this was too careful. Aiden should try to control his nerves more, which is easier said than done.

Erin & Maksim They have amazing chemistry! I haven't seen Maks this happy with a partner since season 5 when he was partnered with Mel B. I thought the beginning of their waltz was dull with Maks trying to tie the blind fold around Erin's eyes. When they were in ballroom hold it was great.

Kate & TonyCan Kate show any emotion on her face? It was a very awkward paso performance. I hope she stays in for a few more weeks as she is so bad that it is entertaining.

Nicole & Derek Their performance had barely any quickstep in it. They knew they would be safe anyway, so decided just do whatever they wanted instead of doing a proper quickstep.

I agree with Christian Cage aswell.

My favourtie dance was Erins, though when Maks was tying the blindfold i just knew Len would moan.

I didn't enjoy Nicoles and Dereks dance, but i felt abit sorry for Derek when Len had a go. Not liking Nicole as much as i thought i would.

TBH I thought the blindfold thing was bit stupid; I got the idea of using it for practice, but using it in the actual performance was over the top. The dance was nice though.

Hugely relieved that Buzz has gone. That 'I am a patriot' and giant ego was terminally boring. He really thought America would save him.

I think Derek Hough is a very talented choreographer but I wish he done his flamenco/paso duet with someone other than his sister(?). She was so OTT she ruined it. Love the guitarist. Granted, I am coming from a flamenco dancer's POV so I may be over critical.

Erin is my favourite. Huge potential. Poor Pammy is away with the flippin' fairies She was trying to channel Bardot wasn't she? But she just looks like a tired hooker most of the time.

Nicole is fab but their dance just wasn't. I want to see her try ballroom and just get on with it. Enough with the showing off.

I'm sure it was Chelsie. I didn't really enjoy it to be honest.

It was all a bit frantic I thought. Should have been more sinuous.

I loved the blindfold. For a self admitted control freak Maks using the blindfold on Erin was a way to show her how to let her guard down & trust him. For me it was a brilliant & original concept & I thought they did great.

Derek's sister is Julianne Hough, who has left the show, which is a shame as she is a far more talented dancer than Chelsie who did the paso with Derek and comes (I think????) from So You Think You Can Dance.

I thought it was great, and you're right, it was Chelsie he was dancing with, not his sister.

I can't tell Chelsie and Jullianne apart - little, pert, lots of blonde hair with extensions, big grin - etc, etc. Probably why I couldn't tell who it was.

The US version of SYTYCD has certainly provided DWTS with a useful batch of new 'pros', hasn't it?

Dmitri, Lacey and Chelsie all came from SYTYCD. I don't know who is the more talented dancer but i'm not keen on Dmitri.
I think Aliona from SCD was on there but didn't get as far?

I think you would tell them apart if you saw them together. Julianne is more mature and attractive, although she is very young herself, she makes Chelsie seem like a 12yr old!

I'll take your word for it: you know your stuff.

Funny how easily one can forget them after a season. I always prefer the USA bunch to the Brits - the men are more butch

Dmitri always over dances, and he doesn't have to. Bad habit that!

Watched the show on Watch last night. Bit dissapointed with most of the dances this week TBH.

Loved Neicy's waltz, filled up watching it

Evan was very cute

Loved Nicole's dance but not a QS at all Derek!

Dissapointed with Pammie, her training looked so good and stampy, just how I like a paso. I found the actual performance a bit messy and nice

Erin's waltz was lovely bar the silly face at the end

Jake/ Chad/ Aiden were all just meh

Buzz was rubbish, glad he's gone because there was just too much saluting and moon talk for me. Bless him and all, but not good.

Kate. I am lost for words. If I was a judge I would have given it 5 out of 10. 4 for completing the dance, and 1 for the couple of seconds she was in the zone. Her best dance though.

It's all very clever and sparkly, but I still prefer strictly

Overall, I prefer the US pros as well, as give-or-take a few, they are better dancers, though I think the UK pros are possibly better teachers. But I'm not keen on some of the newer pros dwts are bringing in - just because they have done well in SYTYCD doesn't make them good ballroom/Latin dancers. And, I know I've mentioned it before, why on earth did they bring in Damian? His ballroom is dreadful, and he is nowhere near the standard of the others.

Incidentally, after your comment about Derek & Chelsie's "flamenco-paso" I watched it again last night. Coming strictly from a paso pov, as opposed to flamenco, I didn't think Chelsie was OTT, just not very good.

Not helped by the mess of hair - maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think both paso and flamenco need the traditional neat bun.

And that appalling dress! She looked like a little girl who had "dressed up", putting her mum's frilled skirt on over her own little-girl styled jumper!!! A disaster! It did nothing for her, and must be about the worst dress ever on dwts!
