I noticed in the Strictly thread that Dancing With The Stars is trying out a new scoring system next week to mark separately on both performance & technique.

Someone on there rightly pointed out that it would likely work really well on DOI so I thought it was worth starting a separate thread here.

I think it would work really well on DOI. You would have to get rid of Jason & Emma as judges though (not a bad thing).

It's an interesting idea, but I can't see ITV ever getting rid of Jason. And they probably feel that having a mix of judges for performing and skating already covers it.
