I was just writing on another thread about the planet Clum(The Peter Kay monster planet from Love and Monsters) and yes, here's another random thought that started a thread, what is THE rudest name you can think of from Doctor Who, be it persons, planet or story title etc. The floor is open to everything. Take it away......!!!!

The planet was called Clom not Clum, don't know if that detracts from its rudeness for you.

Okay, so I got it wrong but it still was a good food for thought anyway! Lol!

Not really rude-sounding in itself, but the one that immediately springs to mind is Koquillion from the William Hartnell story The Rescue, who at one point gets mispronounced as 'Cocky-lickin'.

Incidentally the story is set on the planet Dido, which for years was misprinted in a reference book as "the planet Dildo".

Wasn't the word "ood" slang for female front bottoms back in the 70s?

How about TOMTIT from The Time Monster?! Lol!

I can't believe they were allowed to use TOMTIT. It's not even a very good acronym and Pertwee looks like he's about to gurn Carry On style at the camera every time it's mentioned!

Who can forget the scary "Dildo-nian" from the story 'The Rescue"?

Maybe I subconsciously was thinking of that when I started this thread. Nice one!

Nothing rude about the tomtit, surely?

This, on the other hand, I'm not so sure about:

I always thought The Chumblies sounded funny, especially the fact that they look so stupid aswell.

Dunno about rude names but who can forget Alpha Centauri, who was given a cloak to wear so (s)he didn't look quite so phallic.
I can sort of see what they mean, but have you ever seen a cock with six tentacles and an enormous eye?

I choose to hear that in the voice of a sexy strict schoolmistress with a cane!

Regular use of the word "Tomtit" is one of the few redeeming features of The Time Monster. It's great that several actors are trying not to smirk as they say it.

Nothing rude about Clom, surely?

What about the Daleks mining for "perineum" in Death to the Daleks?

Vervoids sound a bit rude, like painful lesions in a private area.

It wasn't a character in the programme, but when the Doctor (9) was in the Big Brother house, the housemates had painted pictures for the wall. If my memory serves me correctly, one of the names written on a picture was 'Mi Vag'.

Not sure about rude names, but the Eleventh Hour had a plotline that involved a young girl inviting a stange man up into her bedroom to look at her crack.
