in the invasion of time you see two timelords talking and one says to the other arent you due another regeneration, so it seems that they just choose when to do it

I always considered that statement to be more in jest than fact, it was said in a comedic moment with a smile!

McGann def canon...I would challenge anyone who says otherwise.

11th Doctor asked "one more question, just one...is this planet protected?", McGann's face appeared which suggests more adventures than just the 96 (99/00) one and def CANON!

Yes, a fairly logical assumption borne out by the fact that Morbius is, in fact, losing at the time.

While McGann is very definitely canon and I consider the books and audios to be canon too so the eighth Doctor was certainly around for awhile, the half human comment was clearly not a joke as the Master also referred to it. As far as I can see, it simply hasn't yet been explained-though I refuse to believe the Doctor's mother was from Romford.

Has it not been speculated that only that regeneration was half human? Or so the wikipedia article would lead me to believe.

This may be a can of worms opening question?, but if a Timelord only has 13 regnerations the Who writers are getting very close to having a big plot point to deal with?

As the Timelords were around to control stuff like this in the past, now they're not around, maybe the DOctor will just go on regenerating (The Timelord Victorious).

Just a thought!

As for the Castellan; three individuals using that title have been seen on screen, Castellan Spandrell (who it's indicated is not actually a Time Lord; though he's certainly a Gallifreyan, he seems to know little about the workings of Time Lord biology), Castellan Kelner and the unnamed Castellan seen in Arc of Infinity and The Five Doctors. The word 'Castellan' is not a name, but the title given to the keeper of a citadel-on Gallifrey, it seems to roughly equate to the Capitol's Chief of Police.”

Is the jury still out as to whether the Delgado Master was the last 'true' incarnation before his decay seen in The Deadly Assassin?

I ask because when the 3rd Doctor encounters the Ainley Master in The Five Doctors, he says 'another regeneration...' to which the Master says 'not exactly'. To me this suggests the Doctor either didn't know the Delgado Master was in his final incarnation or there were subsequent incarnations between Frontier in Space and The Deadly Assassin.

I don't think it's ever been specified whether the Delgado master was the last incarnation or not. Since the Doctor clearly hadn't seen him in years before Terror of the Autons, he probably didn't know either.
