Yet another "are these headphones any good" thread ?

I want a new pair and i'm very fussy

I do not want - in-line volume control or the wrap-around-the-back-of-your-head model with one lead shorter than the other.

I like these .. very much so.

Well, for the record i got these ..

.. finally the holy grail of headphones for me. No inline volume control and no wrap-around-your-head cord either.

and very good sound quality as well.

I nearly replied to this thread, but then I realised I was a bit late for my advice. Well anyway, I have the JVC's shown in your first Argos link. They look like model HA-FX34, which is what I have. Hope those Panasonics work out well for you.

Those JVC's did look good actually but i'm increasingly happy with the Panasonic ones - the noise cancellation is top notch.

They've got this little slider deeley on the headphone cords that I assume is there to prevent the cords getting tangled up and it works a treat as well.

If I was flush, i'd probably buy a 2nd pair just as a spare set
