Ian and Barbara's final scene: so uplifting and sentimental.
The Doctor trying to keep a stiff upper lip as he calls them "Silly old fusspots" ... beautiful.

Also, Susan's final scene. "One day, I shall come back". Outstanding.

Nothing from the Classic series left me feeling that emotional even when Davison left but I think the new series has two obvious tearjerkers. When Rose left and when Tennant regenerated into Matt Smith. On both occasions the music used was so powerful it was always gonna cause a tear or two.

I bawled.

The Ninth Doctor's regeneration. I cried.

The Seventh Doctor's regeneration. Didn't cry, but knew I was REALLY going to miss him.

I thought when the 9th doctor sent rose away on his ship and he stayed behind to die and Rose trying to stop the machine made me cry.

I also thought it was sad when the 9th doctor regenerated. i liked chris. he was cute.

Tegan Jovanka's departure...quite moving with the Doctor begging her not to leave.

Followed by her sudden realisation and apparent mind change but too late as the Tardis dematerialises!

The bit in Turn Left when Rocco and his family are being sent off to a "labour camp", him and Wilf saluting each other and Wilf saying "Labour camps... that's what they called them last time"

This was quite an adult scene, not only for a Russell T Davies script, but also for Doctor Who. Was one of the darkest places the series has dared to tread, and summed up in the smallest little scene of the episode.

This. I want to cry almost every time I see Donna as I thought she was a brilliant character and brought just the right amount of comedy juxtaposed with real heartfelt emotion to the role.

Still gutted at her crap revised ending...

I've tried, but I can't actually think of a scene from Doctor Who that I'd say has really affected me emotionally. It's not real.

Unless you count the somewhat 'emotional' moment or two my thirteen year old self had when Sarah Sutton was wandering around in her underwear in Terminus...

I remember the scene in 'Waters of Mars' where you see the Doctor walking back to his TARDIS as the crew in the base start dying one by one being quite emotional surprised it hasn't been mentioned

- Rose's departure. I bawled.
- When Donna's mind was wiped, and the Doctor knows they can't meet again.

The top emotional bit for me was Ten regenerating into Eleven - "I don't want to go" just hit something and I was in tears, I was truly gutted.

I'm feeling the uncontrollable urge to pull the sofa out right about now if that counts?

and i did cry when tom baker fell from the pylon and regenerated but it was like he died to me and i was only about 8 at the time

The Family of Blood

'John Smith' having to chose between his new love Joan, or saving the village and turning into the Doctor. And then Joan refusing to go with him when the Doctor asks her to travel with him, insisting that
"John Smith is dead, and you look like him."

Turn Left

The Doctor's horrified realization it is Rose who met Donna in the Parallel Universe, and the Bad Wolf arc returning.

Wilf explaining the 'camps' the family are going to are 'what they called them last time.' Pretty much everytime Wilf tears up..gosh he was good at that.

Donna's mum saying she had always been a disappointment to her. Sod it, the whole episode was emotional!

The End of Time

The final ten minutes, the Doctor collecting his reward. Especially when he reveals he got a winning lottery ticket from Donna's deceased father. AND THEN THE MUSIC...oh that ruddy music. Does it every time.

The Girl in the Fireplace

"My dear Doctor: the path has never seemed more slow, and yet I fear I am nearing its end. Reason tells me that you and I are unlikely to meet again, but I think I shall not listen to reason. I have seen the world inside your head and know that all things are possible. Hurry though, my love: my days grow shorter now, and I am so very weak. Godspeed, my lonely angel."

Blink

Good ol' OSCAR NOMINATED Carey Mulligan getting in a bit of sad eyes when she has to say goodbye to Billy Shipton.
