How strange. I see it says "Weekend calls will be charged at the daytime
or evening rate", so it looks like no weekend rates for mobiles, but note the PlusNet Essential Home tariff says "Weekend calls will be charged at the evening rate"
Edit: just had a look at BT, and what they used to call BT Together Option 2 - Evening & Weekend Plan, seems to have disappeared in their recent package reshuffle. So maybe in answer to your original question, weekends don't exist anymore for non standard calls as far as the telco's are concerned. (And I was only complaining last week that Bank Holidays don't count as weekends any more, but maybe that was a few decades ago)
