On our itouch we buy an app (or even a free one) and it asks for a password. Ok, this is fine, but does this time out after so long so that you need to enter the password again ?? If so, do you know how long it takes ??

Basically, we dont want to be downloading a free app, only for it to be left open and my son who plays "toast" and things, clicks apps and downloads something like the tom tom maps at £60.

Just now, after we download, I switch the touch off completely and restart it, but there must be a simpler way ???

On my Iphone, if I scoll to the bottom of a list page in the App store I have an account button, I can click that and then click 'sign out'

If you still worried about charges on your credit card, remove the card from your account and use top up vouchers instead, then you cant spend any more than whats credited into the account.
