In a fleeting moment of pervy-ness (I don't have that many of 'em - honest!!), I wondered to myself just exactly what Karl and Todd got up to on their first night together - oh to have been a fly on the bedroom wall that evening. Then I thought, what a genuinely juicy and lusciously lovely idea it would be to have a late night "Corrie Uncut" on ITV2 which would have been the perfect place to show some of it. To keep the balance right, we could also eavesdrop on Candice and Tim who always seem to be disappearing into her bedroom for a quickie.
And then tomorrow morning, I'm gonna totally regret having posted this thread.........

With regards their first night together, I think The Powers That Be should have had enough guts to follow through on the scenario they put their characters into - ie. actually show the kiss at the end. As it was, we got a piss-poor editing job which made it abundantly clear that something was pulled, and so effectively we got a dramatic set-up but not a proper payoff. I think they did brilliant things with this storyline up to that point, but the point is, these characters are having an affair, and oddly enough they tend to involve sex - I'm not saying show them going at it like rabbits and to hell with watersheds, but they're just reinforcing the double-standard that's emerged by not showing what they would show if it were a straight couple.
