Are you looking to cast a certain style, personality, age, etc.?
Anyone could make it. They’re looking for the best applicants. One region of the country isn’t any better than the next (so don’t go flying to the Alaskaaudition thinking you’ve got an inside track!). Young or old, you’ve got a fair chance.
Bullshit. Clearly if you live in LA you have a much better choice of getting on the show. Hell, most of the housemates are recruited anyway.

Is Allison Grodner still around? I think BB12 would be much better without her. I think in hindsight, a lot of dodgy stuff was happening behind the scenes last season. I know it wouldnt have been an enjoyable ending, but I think if things had run naturally, the final 5 would have been very different. In hindsight it was very unlikely the way things were going Weeks 1-4 that Jeff, Jordan and to a lesser extent Michele (the three most popular HG) would all make it to the final 5.

To be honest, if meddling was involved in BB11, I don't really care, I don't think I could have watched if it was Jessie, Ronnie, Lydia and Natalie right until the end. Ugh!

But yes, Alison Grodner is still in charge. It'll be interesting to see what the 'theme/twist' is this season.

I hope it's a murder mystery.

I am not as excited about this as I should be. Could have done with some kind of shake-up or change of producer I think.

I'm more excited about this than I am the last series of BBUK. I just hope they cast more strategic housemates this season.

I think BB13 will be a second All Stars, its been rumoured and I think they'll have enough housemates to choose from by that point, seeing as its basically the same amount of seasons between the first All Stars (BB1 didnt exactly count, as they only included Chicken George just to have someone represent that season). They are more than enough housemates from BB8-BB11, and soon BB12, to create a second All Stars. CBS love their All Stars series so you know its coming soon.

Im sort of looking forward to this. I think when some news filters through then i'll get quite hyped up. I hope this is a good season.. We've had two good ones in a row, so im hoping that the trend isnt broken.

And re: an Allstar season, I actually think they have enough decent players to do it this season, let alone next year. Id rather wait though, because its always interesting to see them play with different people. At the moment, Id happily put in 5-6 people from BB10, which just wouldnt work.

From BB10, Dan is a must for a second All Stars. And Keesha is probably the other choice. Maybe Memphis if they want to recreate the Renegades.

BB8 will have Dick and Jen for sure, if they both agree, which I'm sure they will. Eric is a strong possibility, as this time we get to see him play on his own and not for America.

BB9 will be the least represented, most likely Crazy James and Natalie, and Sheila for the token older woman.

BB11, if they want to do it, then Jeff and Jordan for sure. Kevin maybe for the token gay guy. Russell and Ronnie also possibilities.

That's 14 to choose from right there, and if All Stars does happen for BB13 then you'd expect a lot of the potential housemates to come from BB12, as it will be the most recent season and fresh in peoples minds. So quite a few big characters may miss out for their second chance.
