I absoluetly love Flake chocolate
but this choc annoys me sometimes, all the flakes come off and then you are reduced to less chocolate and it's quite expensive too. How do I make it NOT flake into pieces and have smeared crumbs everywhere.

Break bits off instead of biting bits off and then all the flaky bits stay in the wrapper then when you have finished eating the flake you can pour the flaky bits into your mouth. I love a flake.

Open it over a plate and empty it onto the plate then eat up the bits. Anyone who wants to eat a Flake while out walking about needs their head read. You only end up with a Freddo's worth of chocolate down your neck.
Drifters are the optimum chocolatey snack to scoff whilst ambulatory. |

Bite and inhale so you hoover up the flakey bits as you take a bite.

Isn't the entire point of a flake that you can't eat it without mopping up the stuff that has missed / escaped your mouth from all over your boobs and your chin whilst trying to look seductive and sultry.
That is its entire raison d'etre

Untwist one end, bite the chocolate through the actual wrapper then 'suck' the piece you've bitten off into your mouth.
At the end tip the wrapper up and any bits that have fallen off will have collected in the bottom. No waste! |

If you cram it all in at once, there is not a problem with flakage!
![]() Best to have a drink on standby though. |

Shove it in your gob all at once. There is a high risk of choking or embarassing yourself if anyone asks you something or sees you do it, but at least you remain flake-free.
Or, alternatively, get a Twirl or Ripple. And then get a warm drink, nibble off the ends of said Twirl or Ripple, then use it as a straw, and then you get all this lovely melted chocolate, all held in the outer layer of chocolate. It's amazing. |
