There are many barriers to putting SkyPlayer on the existing models the most notable:
1) Performance: The user experience may not be optimal for the experience expected for the service and the video streaming standard used by Sky is not the same as that which is currently supported. 2) Security: The security mechanisms currently available are not supported by Sky and are likely not sufficient for their paid content. |

I have to say if your looking for a quick win device then a simple non PVR with Canvas, Seesaw, Iplayer, C4OD, Ch5 & Skyplayer would be ideal. Re quality.... expectations are low any way.... I tried Skyplayer on my bros Xbox the other day and can only say the HDR streams Iplayer far better image wise.... Nothing fancy just some thing you could say have in a bedroom to use when you want at a price point where you may buy more than one..... just a thought. Terran PS I'm watching your new DTT HD boxes for the above
