Anyone seen this before? I recorded Casualty from BBC1 (West) last Saturday, and it appears in the media list at 53 mins long (correct length) but when you try to play from start, or resume, then it starts playing at 50 mins in. The jump-back-15-secs just goes back to the 50 min mark. You can rewind back past it (the 'position slider' at the bottom moves) but as soon as you stop rewinding it jumps back to the 50 min mark again. Fast forwarding / skipping past the end doesn't help either.

This may have been a clash, as we were recording several things over saturday evening, with only 1 LNB connection (I have since added a second one), but it didn't complain when I scheduled them.

I will try to pull it off via usb, and see what the PC makes of it. Anyone got any other suggestions?

It does sound a bit like a clash response.
Is there any reason that your box initially thought that it had two sat feeds? ie you might have inadvertently adjusted the settings and for that reason it failed to recognise a clash. Another cause may be that the box is a refurb or a shop return and that it was initially set up with 2 feeds. Now you have two feeds it should work correctly as long as you performed a factory reset, the box should have auto detected the second feed.

No, no reason that it would have thought it had 2 feed, AFAIK. I certainly went through what seemed like a first time set up procedure when I first plugged it in, and I'm pretty sure it said something along the lines of 1 feed only.

I haven't done a factory reset since plugging in the second feed, but it's definitely using it, as I can now record and watch any channel simultaneously. Do I really need to do a factory reset?

However, the wife now says that she thinks she looked at the start of the recording earlier, and it was OK, so I'm confused... I'll see what comes off the USB....

There are occasions where the foxsat will record two channels at once dispite having only one feed. To test you are using both tuners when the box is available without any schedules due (or the wife is liable to whallop you for interupting her programme) Then start a recording one BBC CI 951 and start another recording on BBC HD 108, now you should be able to tune to anyother channel and pause the video. If not you will need to do a factory reset and ensure that the prompt about 2 tuners materialises.
