Problem with JVC 28WFT1EK Widescreen

I've had this set for about a month. Yesterday a problem developed. When you turn it on it is in Stand By. If you try and turn it on from the remote or from the telly, it stays on for about 2 secs then returns to Stand By. Any ideas? Thanks!

Looks very much like a power supply problem I had with my old Philips TV.
Suggest repair os replacement under warranty.

If you've only had it a month, DON'T get it repaired - demand a replacement.

After numerous phone calls and arguments, I'm getting it exchanged for a new one.
