This article says Mountain Dew will be relaunched in the UK at the end of this month! Apparently as an energy stimulant drink, to bring it in competition with Relentless and Monster. Anyone else seen this or even heard about it?

Now I no longer have to pay £2 for can!

Since it's a energy drink, the price might be close to £2 anyway and it'll have taurine etc added so it won't sound the same.

Never tasted it when it was last launched, here it more on the American programmes but not enough for me to pay £2 for it.

I am not an energy drink drinker either so probably less likely to try it now than when it was a soft drink.

Why turn it in to an energy drink? The market is flooded with them. Why can't they just re-launch normal (and diet) mountain dew?

They've been selling it in Total petrol stations for a while, I bought it not realising it was an energy drink. won't be buying it again.
