I think it will be spread out at least until next year, if not after.

Possibly but I've a feeling we may see it resolved by the end of this series.

We saw the end(for River anyway) in SitL/FotD and from what SM said in the interview they've both known each other for a while* in ToA/FaS.

Given that we've jumped from the end to the middle(ish) of the relationship I wouldn't be surprised if the next time we see River (eps 12/13) it will be their first meeting from her point of view.

Of course even if Eps12/13 is the first time she meets the Doctor there's no reason she can't appear again in a later series.

*Meaning Doc#10 must have met her a few times off screen.

I don't think we will have the full River Song story this seires, i think it will spread into the next series. But ultimately were just guessing, it's up to Steven Moffat!
