Hi All,

does anyone out there use Freeserve/Wanadoo's WAP site to access FSmail?

I use it regularly, that is I did until the day Freeserve officially changed over to Wanadoo. In fact until a few days ago I couldn't access 'wap.freeserve.com' at all, now I get kicked out when I try to access email with the message 'Page Not Found'.

Has anyone any ideas? I tried contacting Fre.. sorry Wanadoo, but you know what they are like for replying to support questions.

I access WAP via o2 online's service using a Nokia 3510i
thanks

Have you tried?

http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/wap

Comes up in the emulator, but doesn't recognise the phone type.

I acyually got a reply, after a fob off telling me to speak to my mobile service, but it had nothing to do with O2 as all other services worked.

The reply was;

Due to unforeseen technical issues since the change over to Wanadoo the
Freeserve/Wanadoo WAP service has been withdrawn and all web content
relating to WAP has been removed. This fault is currently being worked
on by the Network Support Team and should be resolved shortly.

We apologise for any inconvienience this has caused you.

If you have any further queries then please do not hesitate to get in
contact with us again.

Kind Regards

Wanadoo Technical Support

Just tried that, it takes me to the regular Freeserve WAP site, where I have to select my nearest mobile make. When I get to Email it still kicks me out saying 'Page not found'

thanks anyway

In other words, due to all our efforts being put into pointlessly rebranding the service and producing irritaing tv commercials we forgot that WAP didn't actually die and was just wounded... As the WAP users couldn't access the WAP site we didn't recive any complaints until you contacted us, and now the tech staff will have to find them WAP site files in amongest the VW Camper Vans, Beetles records, love, flowers, bright colours and illegal substances, that we dumped somewhere in Slough
