Does WMP see the player? You have to sync to it, and to do that I think you have to let WMP know that you're syncing, so it can see it and get the process underway.

Does it show up as an attached device?

So that much is established. OK. What happens when you try to sync it? If you click the Sync tab, what happens then?

Nothing happens, the tracks don't download into the sync.

OK, well let's go step by step.
When you click the sync tab, with the player attached, do you see the following:

1. Picture of your player in top right-hand corner
2. Name of your player under that
3. Space remaining on your player
4. A message which says "Drag items here to create a list to sync to this device"

Yes to all, then at number 4, when I drag the items to the sync, it don't work. Instead of listing them in the sync, so am able to download, the sync stays blank!!..

Have you tried using Media Monkey or some other media player? Or reinstalling your WMP?

A little searching turned up this, seems that you need to ensure the player is in MTP mode?
