She put on a coat and a hat. Now it's possible that might take a long time for you to do, but for most of us, it's pretty quick.

Hey, I'm always fair. I'm universally sarcastic to everyone.

It only takes a second to kill someone. How long does it take to put on a coat and hat?

...as is Amy putting on a coat and hat. Gosh I am glad she took the time to look the part, it added to my visual appreciation of the episode no end, I can tell you.

Actually, you're right. Amy's a woman, so would obviously have stopped to check herself out in the mirror and then spent the next half an hour trying on different outfits before finally settling on the one she originally started with.

But then, you don't kill a woman's friends whilst she's getting changed. Anyone knows the sort of hell you're in for if you interrupt a woman getting herself ready to go out.

I concur. The scars sustained from interrupting my dear sister whilst she was changing to simply give her a cup of coffee have never fully regenerated.

Just be glad she didn't have a cutlass.

Ironic, isn't it. Can we have fleshAmy back permanently, please?

Thing is though, the Amy clone has only been portraying the thoughts and feelings of real amy, it wasn't independent in the same way the gangers became due to the storm, so the amy we have seen this series is the same as the actual amy (who didn't even know she wasn't travelling with Rory and The Doctor), therefore your point doesn't stand.

Exactly

Plus, she probably wasn't switched until episode 2, and I noticed the improvement in episode one.

Of course, if she returns and suddenly switches back to series five mode I'll have to eat my words.

I would like a different companion someone like the previous three
For some reason, i just dont like the whole story behind her
Leadworth, her house.
Catherine Tate was the best
And always will be

Even though i prefer Donna still, Amy has had an infinitely more interesting character arc than any of the prior companions since the show returned in 2005. There are whole layers of character development here that we haven't seen before, tbh.

I agree
more is being focused on the companions in series 5 and 6 then in any other

That is true. The only thing that concerns me personally is that I have never really warmed to the character of Amy so for me I notice the character development less because of the way I am feeling about Amy. It's a shame though because the chemistry between Matt and Karen and Arthur is brilliant. Rory, for me, is a much better character and I have taken to him more.

I don't think it should concern you, people like and warm to different characters. I think Rory is great myself as well.

I feel the same, though the way the season is going if Amy and/or Rory are still alive I would imagine they'd have had enough soon, and I really do prefer two companions, preferably male and female, as there's so much more potential than with one female trailing round after the Doctor which is what we've had for years except for brief intervals with Mickey or Jack.
