Even before this episode one of my loves was Jammy Dodgers. And now they are TARDIS self destruct buttons. I think I am going to call them that from now on.

Sorry, just had to share

It wasn't technically a Jammie dodger, they have a heart in the middle, it was a jam sandwich cream by the looks of it

Well when I was young, I don't remember Jammie dodger's coming with the heart, I thought that was a recent invention...

I think also people are confusing the BRAND Jammy Dodger with the type of biscuit.

A jammy dodger biscuit is essentially a biscuit made from shortbread and raspberry flavoured plum jam filling. There are variations of this on the market.

To be honest I like the MArks And Spencers ones... my granny used to have them in the house a lot....

I prefer it when it has a little bit of sugar on the jam.

Indeed SM's new Agenda is the food Agenda. We've had far too many threads dealing with food. And I've got so distracted talking about food I've forgotten to have my dinner... Damn Doctor Who and it's all encompassing sucking-in-ness

I never knew that! I always thought it was raspberry (or possibly strawberry). I can't understand why anyone would make fruit of one jam but flavoured like another.

Hmm, wonder if the mis-naming of the nameless biscuit is actually a hidden story arc

Plums are cheaper than raspberries...

because people generally prefer the taste of raspberries i think...

You have to laugh at the things you end up debating in the name of DW, don't you?

Moffet and his jam filled biscuit propaganda have to end now. Its offensive to non jam based biscuits such as rich tea, and digestives.

Wasn't the 'TARDIS self destruct button' and old Tom Baker trick? It all seemed quite familiar to my childhood on the Dalek ship. I don't remember them all that well but things kept coming back to me
