When is Elaine Lordan leaving EE?
When is Elaine Lordan leaving Eastenders? I'm finding every part with her in it quite tedious now. They have obviously cut down on her appearances in the programme and she only seems to turn up hobbling around the cafe now and again.

Yeh true, they need to give her a storyline she can at least work on til she leaves. All she seems to do lately is sit in the Slaters kitchen, or in the Vic or the cafe looking miserable.

Thats because she had an accident in real life and her foot really is in plaster, restricting what she can do.

Dies in childbirth???
Just a suggestion, how are they going to get rid of her? She could go to Belindas to stay with Little Mo, because Garry humiliates her again. But that would again be raking up another old storyline. |

She could have a lesbian affair with kelly and the pair could "head off into the sunset" to trafalgar to live with the di-marcos

Her legs have already gone. That's why she's using crutches. Next week I think her left arm will be going. Her final appearance will be her dismembered head on the Slater's table while they're tucking into fish and chips. |

I just wish they'd get on with it. We've been promised the back of her miserable boat for what seems like decades now. Its time for EE to stop holding out on us !!

Last I heard she was leaving in June
She got the news that she was being axed months ago though. Hannah Waterman lefet about 3 months after the news came out that she was leaving but it must be about 6 months now since we first heard Lynne had been axed Perhaps breaking her leg in real life has delayed her storyline???? |

The rumour I've heard is that Beppe writes to her offering her a better life in Italy. Something happens with Garry that convinces her to go, and she just packs up and leaves Walford! Nothing too exciting then

The reason she is leaving is beacause she is always drunk in real-life.

Although Elaine has left Eastenders, episodes are done eight weeks in advance - and so in some scenes, leaves are glued on to the trees - by hand!

PLEASE just release her, let her go...
There are enough miserable women in EE without her. Her only storyline seems to be snapping at Gary, saying "I'm sorry babe", then reverting to her sulk again. |

I can actually remember really liking the character when she first appeared. From what I remember she was a bit fiesty and probably my favourite Slater. Having caught a few episode recently all she seems to do is sit round like she's got a complete cob on. It seems a hell of a waste of a character.
