In a pleasing mathematical sequence the episode in fourth place polled just one vote more than the episode in fifth, whilst the episode in third polled one more vote than the episode in fourth. This sequence was repeated for both the second and first placed episode meaning just fove votes separated the top and bottom placed episodes.

However, with votes from 50.00% of you it's Human Nature that heads for the exit and claims fifth place

Really love the first two episodes, despite them not being that popular with other people. And the last 2 i have some un-explained hatred for!

With Gridlock/Planet of the Ood being the only ones that I'm not 100% certain are the right way around. In the end, Ood suffers just because it felt a bit routine — there's nothing specific wrong with it. School Reunion leaps up the list for featuring Mickey prominently.

Gridlock...absolutely loved it the first time, and still do..
Planet Of the Odd....just fantastic
School Reunion....the episode that will forever be associated for introducing me to the Classic series
The Unquiet dead....the first scry story of Doctor Who for me...


And quiet down the line is the Victory of the Daleks...saving graces Matt, and a few classic moments...maybe it will improve over time...but so far...not feeling it.

Same here CC. I changed SR and PoTO two are three times before I placed them as I did. SR just won out because of Sarah Jane and because Antony Head made such a great villain. Just won over the fabulous story that was PoTO.

I thought it would be interesting to see how the stories would be ranked if I gave scores to them so awarding 5 points for 1st place, 4 for 2nd place etc here are the results so far:-

1st place:- School Reunion - 62 points

2nd place:- Planet of The Ood - 58 points

3rd place:- Victory of The Daleks - 54 points

4th place:- Gridlock - 51 points

5th place: The Unquiet Dead - 45 points.


No one person ranked their choices in exactly that order and only 3 people ~ clever chick, KrisHayward and Tigger-Roo agreed with the top two results. None of those three ranked Victory Of The Daleks in third place.

The Unquiet Dead is the only episode which nobody ranked first.
