Channel Five repeat recordings.

When ever i use the series link for a show on FIVE or it's sister channels, my Thomson PVR records all of the reapet showing accross all of the FIVE channels. This problem only effects the FIVE channels, and none of the other networks that have multiple reapet showing over their sister channels, is this problem unique to Thompson boxes or does it effect all PVRs.

Yes Five is at fault here; same problem on my Sagem. This afflicts all boxes to a degree. I think some Vestel based machines handle it better though provided you don't delete the first one recorded. It notices you already have the recording and doesn't acquire the repeats.

I'm not sure but I think I noticed similar problems with E4 and E4+1 a couple of weeks back.

My Sony box does this too. It is the way that the summer student at Five enters the information into the EPG system. And if you email Five, they will say this is what they intended.

God only knows how many episodes of Flashforward I've had to delete!
