Did I miss something in Corrie tonight (10/05) with the Todd/Karl/Sarah love triangle storyline? When Karl was talking to Martin, he was (naturally) horrified when he was led to believe (courtesy of Martin's economical chat) that it was out about his affair with Todd and and that even Sarah knew, all because Katie had blabbed. Not true, of course. But where did the story go with this nifty bit of narrative misunderstanding? Nowhere really, unless I'm myself mistaken and missed something. Karl went over to Todd's next to finish it...............and we all know what happened next. Didn't the fact that his knowledge that Sarah knew of Todd's sordid secret (not the case, as we the viewers knew) make that top of the agenda to tell his lover?

Maybe I missed something, I dunno. Either that or I'm literally losing the plot......

i would think that Karl just put it behind him, i mean if Martin did know...wouldnt you think he woulda siad more to Karl?

However, yeah, they went nowhere with it all. They've got to flesh out these double bills somehow, though.

I think it was just a tease to scare us that Karl was going to say something to Martin 'Oh God, you know about me and Todd!' or something similar (and with better scriptwriting ), whereas Karl obviously caught on that Katy had said nothing....yet!

I have to say, the Karl/Todd plotline is starting to bore the norks of me now. There's no consistency; characters act one way in one episode, then completely contradict themselves in another. Todd told Karl to 'get stuffed' in one ep, only to pretend as if it never happened in the next.

It's a classic case of a soap with far too much airtime to waste flip/flopping back and forth, making its characters appear schizoid and ultimately foolish, weak and manipulative.

Personally, I don't think the writers know what the hell they're doing, apart from joining the dots and trying depserately to get from the opening credits to the closing ones.

Is anyone else on here now getting a bit bored by it all? Be honest...

Im very bored with the storyline now. I mean, if he is gay - fine ... if he is straight - fine.

Yeah, exactly right. Although I can't help feeling a wee bit sorry for Sarah, she's undeniably dense and as thick as two lavvy doors. I mean, WAKE UP, LOVE!! OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

Maybe when she's in hospital to have her baby, they'll give her a brain transplant as well.

Not really, I found it quite funny yesterday.

Anyway the storyline should be come to a close by the end of the month, the love triangle anyway.

Yeah, but as least she's pretty, and that's all that matters really!!! (it is isn't it??)
