I think winning the role is great but the winner is going to be that role in so many people's heads you do wonder if they can get past that. None of the winners has done a second big west end musical, although Lee's about to start. The biggest winner have to be Aoife and Rachel, but then they must be among the most versatile.

I think ALW like pliable talent like Jessie, Niamh, Lewis, even Connie. I find it a bit creepy he doesn't seem to like those who are very sure of themselves, Daniel, Jodie, Ben and Rachel spring to mind.”

He saved Ben in 3 sing offs though, before he went. Rachel got saved twice. Never forgive him for saving Lewis over Daniel though

I think he wanted rid of Seamus and Craig more, the first week I think he actually judged it on the sing off. I think he was that bothered who went from Sarah and Rachel, I think he saved Rachel over Niamh because the show was starting to do Niamh more harm than good and he was hoping to use Rachel the next week to get rid of Jodie.

How many times did he save Lewis? (From memory it was a good few times)

I din't like how ALW kept saving Rachel, she was horribly shouty for her first few performences on the show I thought. I don't think she really knew how to work the camera, her expressions seemed quite scary aswell.

But she really got better, and I started to like her towards the end.

So I think he was right to save her in the end, becuase she got the chance to show people what she could do. She was obviously very talented, but it didn't appear that way to me at first. I just think that pop music wasn't really her strong point.

Three. His assed got kick in every sing off, especially the one against Daniel, that was borderline cruel.

He only saved Rachel twice, and had he saved Sarah he would have done what he did with Rachel, use her to get rid of people he wanted to go. Unfortunately for him he never got the chance as Jodie didn't fall into a sing off.

Well I really don't agree with you at all.

The record amount of saves still goes to Helena from Maria. He saved her four times and she ended up skipping both sing-offs in the semi-final and finishing second in the final.

In terms of known things/ characters I'd say:

1) This year's Helena/ Ben= in the sing off loads but still makes it to the (semi)final.

2) This year's Daniel/ Sarah= talented professional who was popular on here but apparently the general public thought they were unsuitable for the part. Got rid of in a "shock bottom two" in week 6.

3) This year's Rachel= talented professional who had difficulty adjusting to tv and pop songs and was accused of being cold and arrogant. Seen as the "safe pair of hands" if none of the favoured youngsters worked out. Few people warmed to her until about half way through, when she finally got a musical theatre song in her sing off with Sarah, at which point people on the board started to realise she was actually really good when in her comfort zone. Sadly, the general public never saw it.

4) This year's Connie/ Lee= talented professional who stood out pretty much from day one in terms of both talent and suitability.

5) This year's Siobhan/ Lewis/ Niamh= talented but inexperienced youngster who is favoured by ALW and/ or the panel but who the public isn't so sure about.

Umm, can't think of any more off the top of my head. Oh, except:

6) This year's Abi/ Aoife= talented actress whose vocals are criticised throughout the series. More popular with the public than the panel.

And finally 7) Career like Aoife/ Daniel/ Ben/ Rachel= performers who have gone on to lead West End shows, despite being labelled inconsistant/ boring/ great understudy in the competition.

I think it was Steph and Stephanie who got two "votes" each whilst everyone else got one (apart from Jessica and Danielle obviously)”

So it's evil Dani and she deserved to go!!! (Joking people)
