Put it another way, Jenny's voice would be great for the Munchkins (and I don't mean that in a nasty way at all, I literally mean..she'd make a great Munchkin in the show) but her voice does not have the range/colour/power/tone to be a leading lady, it's too immature.”

I was making the opposite point after someone said Jenny sounded childlike as if it was a problem. Sounding childlike seems to me to either be essential or even if it isn't it opens up good options to have.
I would argue the opposite on the week two performance. if they want someone to really hit the audience vocally with Judy Garland songs with a bit of a more modern touch someone who can sing Eva Cassidy that well will fit the bill. I don't yet see anyone else there who can sing Eva Cassidy or Garland that well and two of the people who might look right and might grab the audience with their singing (Bronte and Dani) have gone already . There's quite a few people left who will have me wondering if I wandered into WWRY by mistake , counting Munchkins whilst they act , or thinking about whether to have chocolate or strawberry ice cream in the interval while they sing.
