I think Matt Smith is okay as Dr who (not as good as
David Tennant) and Karen Gillen is quite hot but I do think that the scripts have been poor.
It seems that 45 minutes is too short for a Dr Who Adventure. 11 April Episode about the dummies was rushed at the end.
I liked the concept of the Dalek's being in London
during World War 2 but again this story was rushed
and I wouldn't mind it being over two parts with a cliffhanger (the Daleks could have captured Winton Churchill or AMy and the DOctor could have rescued them)
I remember a Tom Baker Dalek storyline which
was four or five episodes of 30 minutes with three cliffhangers.
