Leadworth on Google Maps!
Dr. Linus

Ok, so it isn't actually Leadworth - but a quick combination of Wikipedia and Google Maps allowed me to find the exact spot where the montage scene with the Doctor remembering Rory taking the picture (i.e. the main Leadworth location) took place. Worth a look!

Yes, I was bored.

...so that's why The Doctor instantly noticed the mysterious Duck Pond... it doesn't exist

if the duck pond doesnt exist...that means they put it in. is that just for the humour, or something more.....

I'm impressed... not sure I should be, but I am! Thank Heaven for people with too much time on their hands!

And, yes, the first thing I noticed was the absence of the duck pond. Which made me wonder, if you'll forgive me going off on a tangent that might be no more than the pursuit of an undomesticated waterfowl...

Maybe it's setting us up for another Bad Wolf moment... at the last minute (or the eleventh hour...), the Doctor remembers it, and repeats it... "duck pond"... Amy obeys the perceived instruction, and the deadly thing flying at her sails harmlessly over her head.

Maybe I should apply for a job as main story-arc consultant?

Looking at that on Street View is quite creepy, it must be the Dr Who association.

I wonder if that LINDA lot will be descending onto the area soon.

And Llandaff (assuming there's only one) was Roald Dahl's childhood village - the scene of "The Great Mouse Plot" against Mrs Pratchett the vile shopkeeper!

Me and my wife spent the weekend in Cardiff a few weeks ago and did a ghost walk in Llandaff. Didn't realise it was 'Leadworth' until the guy hosting the walk told us. Very creepy place to walk around at night.

It's also the location of the head office of BBC Wales - coincidence that, isn't it?

And yes, that's the same war memorial.
