Nokia 6600 questions
Hi all,
Just wondering how I can go about getting the wap settings for this phone (I am on genie / o2) so get free wap. I tried phoning o2 but I didn't get an answer. The same applies for GPRS and MMS... Would love to get these working! Also, just wondering if anyone knows how to transfer songs directly to the memory card rather than the phone memory, as many songs are too big to be transferred to the 4mb and then transferred to the memory card, so I need a direct transfer to the memory card. I use a generic Bluetooth dongle, and it works great, just need to transfer to the memory card rather than the phone's memory! Thanks a million for your help, W. |

For your settings goto www.sonyericsson.com
You can get all the settings sms to your phone from there. Regards |

Just set your mailbox to be stored on the MMC card - go to Messages > Options > Settings > Other > Memory in use, and select the name of your MMC card.
Go here for the settings, which will also let you download the o2 Active application. |

Thanks pingu, the mailbox setting worked great.
I downloaded the active settings thing also, got GPRS working (I think) although there is no option in the regular WAP for a 6600 ![]() Will try ringing them again, although I am sure I will get the same tone that tells me nothing. Thanks again, W. |
