Why can't NOTW learn the difference between DWTS and Strictly?

It's not that difficult. One is in America, and one is in the UK. They are two completely different shows, since when did "Strictly" become the generic term for both shows?

I've seen about three of their articles now calling Pamela Anderson a "Strictly" contestant.

I just find it really weird, it would be like saying "the DTWS contestant Chris Hollins..." or whatever.

Maybe it is the generic term though, but I'm fairly certain it's not. If someone can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated.

Why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

Lol, that must be their motto.

But it's not that difficult to do the research and learn the difference between the two shows...

I'm fairly certain research isn't in the NOTW 'journalists' dictionaries

Imagine if they actually started checking their facts - they might run out of stories
