Anyone Else??
Having problems with their BT landlines today?
We live in the 0208 code area and all phones including neighbours ones are dead, When you call via a mobile all you get is the engaged tone but strangely BT broadband is OK!! |

Update just called BT via a mobile and there is a fault in the area, They say it should be back on in a hour or so.

There have been a few problems in the Sydenham and South bank areas quite a bit recently, that might also have something to do with it.

I hear that the thamesmead problem is now sorted.
The other one is still ongoing. http://btbusiness.custhelp.com/app/s..._cat/2468,2470 |

Thanks for the replies, Yes we are on the Thamesmead exchange and i can confirm it was sorted out sometime yesterday afternoon, Lets hope they also sort the other problems soon!!
I know of several elderly people who wont have mobiles for whatever reason and rely on their BT landline. |
